Luck ‘O The Irish!

March 21, 2019

My wife and I had been kicking around the idea of growing our family. We thought it would be nice for our four year old Son to have a little brother. Since we’re both getting a little too old to be thinking of birthing another chid, we decided to throw our hat in the ring to adopt a baby boy.

Well, on Sunday March 17th — St. Patrick’s Day — we got a call that there was a 14-week old baby boy that would love to meet us! We raced two hours into what felt like the Eastern Colorado wilderness, and met our new boy! He is a healthy 12 pounds, came up from New Mexico, and in honor of the day, we’ve named him Loti (LOW-tee) — an acronym for “Luck of the Irish!”

And here he is, bonding with his new mommy….

We now are officially a family of four! 🙂
We’re excited for our Son to grow up with his own puppy, I’m looking forward to hiking with this little guy when he gets bigger, and Mommy is head-over-heals in love. We’ve never owned dogs before, so it’ll be challenging, but we’re up for it!!
